Party Planning

So let's start with the basics. . .

The first few things you might want to decide are:

• The date and time of the party (which may determine some of the latter points)
• Where you'll have it
• How big it will be
• And what kind of theme you might want

After that, you can decide how party mad you feel like going. Do you want to cover the essentials or really go all out?

If you're super organised you might want to think about a budget and even a timeline of events- or you might be like me and prefer to just wing it!

Some supplies you might want to consider are:

• Balloons (in your theme/colour scheme)
• Banners/streamers/bunting
• Cake/cupcake toppers
• Cups/plates/cutlery/straws etc. 
• Photo backdrops and/or props

Then:

• Entertainment?
• Games?
• Invitations?
• Menu?
• Favours?

Having a theme or colour scheme from the outset will make it far easier to plan on the decorations and serve ware etc. whether it's a Disney themed children's party or rose gold girl's night, you'll have a base for everything to come together.
