I said yes. . .

In August 2017 my 3 year old daughter, my partner and I headed to Hawaii for 2 weeks of sun, sand and shopping! It was my favourite holiday destination to date and I recommend it (almost forcefully) whenever asked. 
In our second week, on a beautiful little beach called Lanikai my partner popped the question (after some very weird behaviour - to the point where I thought something was wrong with him!) and very quickly, the engagement party planning began. Like I said, I love a good party (planning). 
Much of the few weeks leading up to the party was spent making pom poms and lanterns, elaborate photo displays, sourcing every remotely-engagement-related decoration I could find and prepping our house we'd only bought the month prior.
The day-of was chaotic setting up our outdoor areas, only to be surprised with rain just hours before our guests were to arrive. But once the stress subsided (following a drink and a pep talk or 2) the rain didn't damper the party at all - we had an absolute ball!
Sadly, with all the festivities, I didn't get all the photos of the set up and decorations I would have liked to but I can honestly say, it was my favourite party to date and I had the time of my life
